Chylolymphatic Cyst - Presenting as Acute Intestinal Obstruction – A Case Report

Chylolymphatic cyst is one of the rare variants mesenteric cysts. These cysts are present within mesentery and contain chylous or lymphatic fluid. in paediatric age group. We a case four years old boy who presented with features acute intestinal obstruction. CECT abdomen revealed hypodense cystic mass peritoneal cavity. Exploratory laparotomy solitary measuring 10.7 cm x 9.4 10.5 which was adherent to loops small intestine right kidney. Complete excision along resection adjacent gut end anastomosis done. Histopathology excised suggestive chylolymphatic cyst. It has been highlighted that can be cause obstruction children.
